Elbrus
It was the first time on snow and ice and had to master new equipment. We slept in giant petrol drums.

McKinley / Denali
The whole mountain was a slog. The sleds were like supermarket trolleys, they have a mind it their own and keep trying to slide down the mountain.

Kiliminjaro
Kilimanjaro seemed like an impossible mission. It was really tough, we hadn't had much experience at altitude.

Aconcagua
We did our first carry to Camp I and I cracked my tooth, we we decided to turn around. We thought it was all over.

Vinson Massif
We flew in a Russian Paratrooper plane and it was very touch and go with the weather. We landed at 3am in full sunlight.

Koscuiszko
Kosciuszko was the first of our 7 summits. When we climbed the mountain we had no intention of climbing the 7 Summits.
